Hi,
I've just heard that Peter Ramzan at Rossdales has now passed most of his work onto Rob Dallas.

Has anyone been to see him for teeth/mouth issues?

I'm worried as been down this road before, where I thought I was seeing the specialist in his field, when you get there you see someone else who doesn't specialise in the problem you have, go all round the houses trying to diagnose the problem, mean while using up all your money.

As I'm not insured would rather go straight to the expert.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Haven't used Rob, but have always found all the vets at Rossdales brilliant (seem to have used half the practice over the years!) and if they're not sure, then rather than umming and arring the'yre very good at asking the other vets for a second opinion. They're also very good at not waisting your money and only doing what is neccessary and talking through the cost of everything and the pros and cons etc.
Can you tell I've spent a lot of time at Rossdales this year?

Rob Dallas is not only a fab teeth person but he is sooooooo GORGEOUS!!!!!! I always ask for him first when it is teeth or vaccination time. He is very dedicated, always doing more qualifications to up his experience and very patient with the horses and did I mention that he is a hottie!

Oh no, I hope your horse is o.k. now?
Thanks for the info. He has just phoned me and seemed very nice and went through all the costs etc

If you go into the Rossdales website, I think you will find (if its still on the site) there is a picture of Rob doing dentistry on a horse. Look under Services section and you'll find it under Dentistry.

And as others have said - you'll be fine with Rob. I know Pete has been training up more of the vets in dental work to take over some of his workload, but for anything major - you will still get referred back to him.
