Anyone bought from Vet-Medic?

Has anyone bought from Vet-Medic, and would you recommend it? They have both Synequin and Prascend, both of which I need for my mare, for considerably cheaper than my vet (we're talking about £50 cheaper for the Synequin :eek:)! Just wanted to know if it's a decent site with good service? Thanks :)
 
I buy my dog and cat wormers/flea treatments from them, last few times they did an offer that if your purchased a dog wormer you got free p&p. Never had any problems.
 
I hope so - just paid for Sabria's next prescription of Prascend from them. Unlike other websites I have bought from they accept an uploaded version of the prescription (the others give you a reference and a Freepost address to send the paper copy to them) so that is the only unfamiliar aspect. And I was glad to see VAT and postage (2nd class) was included in the published price :)
 
I use them regularly, I get all my wormers from them and also dog and cat flea and worm treatments. I've always had good service from them and the prices are good. I don't think I've ever been charged postage, but I could be mistaken on that :confused:
 
Check prices against Viovet before you order.

It is almost always cheaper to get a prescription from your vet and then order online. My vet takes the mick and charges £16 for a 'script, but I still saved £70 on Trocoxil for the big dog.
 
Good to hear that service is good! I'm going to order the Synequin tonight (it's cheaper than on viovet, but thanks for the reference!) as you don't need a prescription, and then next time I need some prascend I will buy that online as well. Bet my vet will charge a fortune for a prescription, but it will still work out cheaper!
 
I ordered some sheep vaccine last year. They said item had been dispatched for next day delivery (have to refrigerate vaccine so postage was via special delivery). Needless to say I waited in but nothing arrived. Nothing arrived the following day so I phoned to be told sorry they would send out straight away. Still nothing arrived so I phoned again to be told it was out of stock! AARHH hate it when that happens. To cut a long story short they did refund my money and then sent the vaccine................
TBH it was as if the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. I wouldn't order from them again based on my experience.
 
I have used them with no problem and have also used Animed for quite a bit as most stuff is cheaper there (Feliway £18.60.........Vet wanted £35!!)
 
Okay well I've just ordered from them, so hopefully all will go smoothly! £114.25 for a 1kg tub of Synequin was too good to turn my nose up at, my vet was charging at least £160 :eek:
 
Just to let you know I am well impressed - they accepted a download of the prescription so there wasn't the usual delay while I sent it to them, and the Prascend came today after I ordered it Thursday and they notified me of despatch on Saturday. Good service (the price for Prascend was the best I could find).
