I posted in the Breeding forum but it doesn't seem very busy. I'm sure I've spotted QH peeps on here before...

Does anyone have any experience breeding QHs and what stallion did you use and how the did the foal turn out etc?

I like the foundation bred QHs and would ideally like to breed something to rein. Got a nice compact mare that won a lot at halter as a youngster. Just looking for feedback on different stallions peeps have tried.

I like the look of Toys Triple Chick and Chexin Out; has anyone used these stallions?

Thanks!!

I have QH but don't breed. The market sucks in my area right now. You can buy 2 yo's for $200-300 so why breed. However, my daughter's instructor breeds a little for reining horses. She is really hot on a horse called Zip's Chocolate Chip. She has some really nice colts out of him. Well built and nice temperments.

Tia has QH but I don't know what lines she has.

Have had 2 PB a AAxQH (by Zero Skipkeo) who sadly had to be PTS after breaking a hind leg. The other was a WelshxQH (by Red Hot Profit bought over by Sterling QH Stud). We have a son of hers by a Trak stallion, but he has inherited the nice round quarters & can certainly shift!!!
