hi, is there anyone out there breeding andalusian anglo-arabs? otherwise

known as tres sangres or three bloods, i have two, they seem to be quite rare, mine are pre x anglo-arab stallion and his son who is a higher percentage of tb.
 
I have a pre mare but in foal to another pre. have you tried posting on the bapsh website, there is a forum on there, though few threads. it may be worth having a go, there are people who cross with other breeds in the uk.

i would imagine it would be a nice cross, i have an anglo arab x WB, he looks lovely but has been a handfull all his life, he's 19 now, but i wouldnt have had him any other way. would love to see a picture of yours.
 
hi, mik and monkstoO1, what do you think of the horses you have seen in spain?, which is of course where this cross originates, what size are they? what are they best suited for? i have'nt any good pics at the mo, mainly they are plastered in mud! will try in the near future to get some, and yes i find they are lively but not hot, kind of modifyied by the andalusian maybe.
 
tristar, sory havnt seen an andy x anglo arab before, but it would be similar to a hispano arab? there is an advert on the bapsh regarding the registering of them on a british register. perhaps they would be able to help you more.

know what you mean with rgards the mud monster look :-) mine look like hipos at the moment, i dont think there is a single hair left without at least an inch of mud permanently glued to it!!! doesnt matter how many times i brush them off they promptly go out the next morning and get covered again!
 
hi monktcOi, who's your mare in foal to, and when is she due?, i think we just had a monsoon here, france, this evening i'm soaked from head to foot! so no progress on the photos, any pics of yours?
yes i'v seen the thing about the register, but it appears at the moment that people are not responding and supporting it in sufficient number, so will wait and see.
 
Hi, she's in foal to a stallion by the name of Elegante XLVI, he's owned by jenny bernard the lady who started the BAPSH. he's a 15.3 bay stallion, hes got the most amazing character and hopefully will match my mare well, she's a 15.1 grey 4 year old. she's in foal as she cant be ridden due to a shoulder injury as a 2 year old. so far so good, she's got around 6 months to go, and as this is her first foal and only my 2nd i'm in for a steep learning curve. the last time i bred was 19 years ago, i've still got him and his mother but they are both warmblood x.

i dont know how to put pictures on here, i tried once through photobucket but couldnt get it to work. any ideas on how to get it to work???

if its any consolation its been tipping it down here for the last 2 days, and today is blowing a gale to make matters worse. i dont think my field is ever going to dry up!
