Got the 2nd rounds of Ameateur Champs at Limes Farm this weekend, so going for that. Hopefully she wont do her usual sqealing/bucking thing most the way round like usual lol....

Aww! Im sure you'll be fine-today was my last day to practice as im working and nigel was v. unco-operative!! our canter lets us down atm too- he kind of explodes into canter with his head like a giaffe and tanks off with me! hey ho!
We are off dressaging too on sunday! Not holding out much hope though as we haven't managed a lap of the school in canter yet! And as we don't have an school it doesn't look like the 1 session in a friends between now and then will solve it!

I'm off to first competition ever on sunday, indoor jumping at Adlington (Wilmslow RC). Not too worried about the jumping, more whether i can actually get her through the door into the arena, oh and the Virgin Pendolino trains that will be flying past the arena all afternoon (no, she's never seen a train).
So if anyone's there and sees a huge black horse spinning round in circles outside the arena, that'll be me. Please don't laugh too hard!

Yes, prelim 7 and prelim 14 on Sunday. The ginger nag doesn't much take to this going round in circles, but have told him I'll take him hunting on Wednesday if he's good!

I'm going to Sparsholt unaff dressage on Sunday, only Prelim 4 but she's been on and off work since the beginning of September and this time last week was lame. But I thought, even if I only get a couple of sessions of riding in the week, it's only P4 and I might as well go for it! Will be good just to get out and show off
and we had a FAB lesson today so we want to show off our new found engaged-ness!
