Just bought an old one in good condition for the yard but its looking a bit sad and needs a facelift.

Any ideas what can be used to replace the naff old sofa things in the living space bearing in mind the windows and doors don't open wide enough for normal sofa's. Don't want bean bag type stuff though as its got to be comfortable.

Also to paint the outside what sort of paint is used.

Any help appreciated.

are they built in seats or freestanding. if freestanding we replaced our manky ones with some from ikea which had to be built so it could be done inside. also they are both sofa beds so we can sleep an extra 4 people .dont know what your walls are like but ours were textured and emulsion did not work.looked good to begin with but then kind of peeled off so now look very very shabby chic

Friend who I stable with did a beautiful job recently on one she bought.

She painted inside and re-covered the bunks etc. And put a new carpet down. Looks like new.

No they are the built in ones that pull out to make beds, really scabby. Walls need re-doing and are currently textured so am thinking wallpaper might be better than paint.
