Explosive sneezing in a very airy stable, out at grass, damped haylage. Sneezing has suddenly ramped up. Just slightly watery nose and eyes fine. Time to call vet?
One of mine is coughing and sneezing more than normal. He had some yellow snot yesterday but temp normal and it's not there today. I'm also debating about the vet but trying him on bagged haylage first as there's no good hay left near me now.
Yep, same here. Began this nonsense when mowing season started. It seems to come and go but when he is eating mostly. Lawns and fields of grass getting dropped. Our hay field is FULL of buttercups, all out right now.
Two years ago he came in covered from head to foot in the most dramatic hives I have ever seen. Not in the least bit bothered but I nearly died of shock. They subsided spontaneously.
Vet practice is calling me about how long to leave him sneezing before I empty my bank account into theirs.
My mare has too! The Pollen is very high this year, I have been soaking her hay and using Feedmark's Clarity supplement which really seems to be helping.
My old cob sneezes when the buttercups are out. The damp weather actually helps to keep the pollen down, but on dry days he goes out in a fly mask, which seems to help.
Not sneezing but one had a bit of a runny nose and we’ve had some good nose-clearing snorting going on too (but they seem fine otherwise). Put it down to pollen.
