Just sat and added up all springs dressage scores (except last weekend unaff) to get his average score = 66.62%
Then added up all his positions to get average placing = 2.7
Then added up how many times we've done each test P14=1, P15=7, P17=5, P19=7.
Can you tell I'm bored. Any one else do such sill stuff?
I expect the average to drop next weekend when we move up to novice :o
Not yet bored enough to find out how many different judges we have competed under. Probably around 12

ETA, with the 2 unaff scores added it comes up to 67.25%

I'll be honest, no. I know all our PB's by heart, but not our average score (which considering how bad Geoff was to start with, will be abysmal I think...)

But don't knock yourself on the Novice - I was cacking my pants about our first aff Novice, and he actually scored very consistently with how he did unaff, and had comparable scores to his prelims! Novice obviously suits my workmanlike horse much better than prelim :) And with all your training I'm sure Spring will be fab :D

Now what you need to do is stalk the judges, take their average marks, calculate coefficients and apply correction factors :D

Alternatively just go to the pub for a beer and do something normal ;)

All you need now is some matchy matchy gear all arranged by colour and style...

As an aside, that's an impressive average :)

I miss competing!! :(

I do the same. Its a rolling spreadsheet I update after each outing. I also analyse the collectives, and have additonal worksheets for those tests that have more than one judge.

Now, I thought this was normal Obsessive Compulsive Dressage behaviour ?

No wonder you couldn't finish work in time to ride Spring if this is what you get up to when you are supposedly working!

PM you have given me a whole new procrastination technique. I've just arranged my sheets by test then date, in putted all the %, collectives, judges and dates to my number cruncher and have averages, mins, maxes, within level and overall, and then a graph of score by time!!!

I feel dirty.

However chuffed with the numbers - from an average intro score of 58, to a prelim av of 65.6, to a novice av of 66.7 :)
