I noticed that my cranky two year old Springer spaniel, Molly, had a knot under one of her ears. I was sitting on my bed at the time, and there was a pair of small, sharp scissors on the chest of drawers.....just the thing, I thought! BIG mistake! I clipped the knot off and felt under her ear to make sure there was none left....hand had blood on it......further inspection revealed I'd cut off more than a furry knot.......poor Molly now has TEN stitches under her ear! A horsy friend did a similar think to her cat's tummy....come on, surely LOTS of you have done this......haven't you???
