Bedmax is now officially like gold dust. Seemingly there was a fire in one of its plants and then the other plant broke down so there's none in production.

I think I've just purchased the last ten bales available in the Borders.

This will really screw the company up, though. Bet there are lots of people who are going to try other beddings now. I don't want to go back to normal shavings so will have to experiment to see what works. Fortunately I have rubber matting, but two of my horses pee for Britain!

Our supplier had an artic load last week so ok for a bit.

I used some Lay Soft the other week when she had run out of Bedmax and it looks like Easibed but asborbs so much better - it worked brilliantly mixed with Bedmax and was only £4.50 a bale

My supplier reserved the last pallet for me - I Usually only buy them 10 bales at a time as I have to store them at home in the garage! This time to make sure I have enough to last I got the whole pallet! I now have 42 bales stacked in my garden!

I spoke to my supplier last night - she was due to pick up her artic load 2 weeks ago but was called and asked to leave it a week as there had been a fire - the site she went to was the fire site (didn't say where) but it is back working - she also ordered another load yesterday and was told to collect - no mention of any shortages.

I asked her and she did suggest maybe some suppliers were scaremongering so they could pump their prices up???

Yup!
Our yard had to have 6 pallets of Nedz Bedz delivered as we were told we wouldn't get any until January. Half the yard has no moved on to Nedz Bedz. Those with wagons have been going and getting as much as they can (farmway have limited to 4 bales max/WCF to 10bales at a time) and keeping it in wagons!
However we got a phone call today saying we will have a delivery on Monday!!
I have moved one of mine onto Nedz Bedz and think i will keep her on it as i am using less per week!!!

I have heard nothing of this, had 20 delivered yesterday to see me over xmas.
Hopefully my supplier has stocks (should do as everyone else around here is too tight to use it), as it is the only bedding my horse doesnt cough on.

I've just come back from Farmway in Morpeth hoping to get some Bedmax. They didn't have any but when I asked when they were getting some in they said we've never stocked it!
