by a hungry dog who doesn't get that the clocks went back last night?

I WILL last him out until 5.30, I will, I will, I will

Yep, I have 3 of them whinging, I'm determined not to feed them yet but they are really getting on my nerves. Have given in and fed the horses though before it got dark. So depressing 5.30 and its bloomin dark here.

Everytime I shift position on the sofa Henry jumps up
mad.gif
I wouldn't normally feed for another hour but I can't deal with the whining much longer!

It's dark here too, I just bought Henry a little LED light on a clip from the petrol station to stop me losing him tomorrow night

Nope, the Beastie is more interested in waiting to see if Mum drops some meat while carving it

TBH none of my dogs whinge for their food as they were always taught from a young age that whinging/whining gets them nothing!

I cannot stand whiney dogs

OH's Parents have been here today and asked 'Does Otto never bark?', No he bloomin' well doesn't, 'cos he knows he'd get a boot up the backside

Can't stand yappy mutts

Beastie likes the sound of her own voice if someone comes to the door
blush.gif
Although once she has established we all know someone is in the house she shuts up
tongue.gif

Barking I can cope with but whining and whinging is a big no. Although Midget 'talks' it's weird, hard to describe!

Nope. Pops has had a busy day (more than can be said for me

) and she is just snuggled up on the sofa with me. She doesn't get fed at an especially set time in the evening, and she's not a very food orientated dog, nor does she make a noise asking for food

Henry is the most vocal dog I have ever come across
crazy.gif
He has a wide range of noises to express himself with! He is never yappy though, that I could not stand. He does whine a bit though when he thinks it's time for tea, or when he thinks we are almost at our destination when driving and he reckons I should put my toe down
tongue.gif

When I first brought him home he whinged every time our speed dipped below 30, I thought I had a speed demon on my hands

Mine don't whine, they hurl themselves against the sides of their runs and do that curious noise that only a German Shepherd can make. Singing? Squealing? Yodelling?!

[/ QUOTE ]

Yep thats the noise I was getting.
tongue.gif
It is a fairly unique Shepherd sound isn't it, you can spot it from miles away
grin.gif
And I consider myself duly chastised by all of you who don't pander to whingy dogs.

Yes, you can always tell where the GSD rings are a mile off at shows
