anyone else came across this dodgy website?

Was just having a look on the website www.giveusahome.com which offers pets for rehoming through charities and private individuals when I came across a post in the horseandpony section about an apparent new sanctuary in newcastle- www.newcastlesanctuary.co.uk
It seems very obviously to be a false website and definitely a scam of some sort, just wondering if anyone else has came across it elsewhere online? I have contacted the admin of the site to draw their attention to both that advert and also other posts the user has made- asking specifically for certain breeds of horse, which need to be "free as they are a rescue centre".
Hopefully nobody is drawn in by this scam!

Do you think that if you send an old wrecked and unwanted horse to them, it may end up at appleby? They have it listed under the 'events' section lol Is it just a coincidence that his surname is gray.

Reckon this is a 12yr olds school project!!!

Address doesn't match Postcode, you'd think the'd know their full address at least??!!
 
Looks extremely Dodgy wouldn't touch it with a barge pole !!!

would you really drop off your tack and leave them to it when you go on holiday I think NOT.

D'oh why do they think a vet would be at their beck and call for lessons and free ride

We were very concerned about this. The phone number is his grandmothers who says she is fed up with him using her number for buying and selling. He has not got 2 horses from the RSPCA and a good sanctuary in Wales refused him two of theirs on the 1st convo.
Please report him to the council and animal welfare.
What is he doing with unsound horses because he clearly isnt keeping them so where have they gone ?
 
The next paragraph is taken directly from the Newcastlesanctuary site which clearly states he is selling horses.

Rehoming

All homes are checked by are officers and will have to pay for delivery. Each horse comes with a full grooming kit / head coller / lead rope.

Each horses is sold on price

acording to there ability and needs see are horses fit for rehoming.
 
Like madhossy, I think it's a kid's project too, or at least a kid having a go at building a website, though the adverts would concern me. Has anyone tried ringing the number?

Thats Esther and her mum !!

I believe both are residents at Redwings having been removed from Spindles farm,Amersham from another Mr Gray !
