I haven't been able to ride again, it is still freezing here, areas in the sun are ok, but anything not is still covered in ice. The sand school is also frozen so can't even go in there! I have to ride along fairly busy roads to get anywhere, and the cars are going so fast I am worried about them going out of control and hitting me.

Oh well, hopefully I will get to ride sometime this holiday!

Yep, I am

. It's finally starting to thaw today though

. I've not ridden all week because the ground it like concrete. I'm fed up of having to defrost the taps every morning and night, scraping my car 10 times a day and having to stop and get out to wash the windscreen because the skooshers are frozen

I like the cold weather really, as long as I'm in my warm house looking out at it!

It's been a right pain.

It's starting to defrost here and we were going to go down the lane to the school this afternoon, but now a fog is coming down and don't know whether visibility will be good enough to go.

Sick of it now! I like looking at it but the ground is awful, rock hard and as a lot of our rides comprise of tracks it's pointless going out. For the first time in the 3 winters I have been at the yard the school completly froze over the other day.
Thing is, I know in the summer (presuming we get one this year

), when it is boiling hot I will be thinking 'ohh, I wish it was winter again'

Had my lesson today so had no choice but to go out. The rubber school was hard, but slowly thawing.

Had to watch Tyler going into the field when I turned him out afterwards to make sure he didnt slip!!

Even just warm enough so no frost or snow would be fine

I much prefer this to that constant rain. We are so lucky to have off road riding that the hard ground hasn't affected us. Deicing the car and frozen water taps are a nuisance though.

Totally fed up too. Today the school is solid, managed to do half an hour in there yesterday but it wasnt great. Too bad to hack out as its so icy.
We are lucky to have all year turnout but its been too bad to put them out. Luckily we have had an hours turnout in an untouched field. An hours been long enough as the field was re seeded this year and its full of grass, theyve loved it.

We've had hardly any frost down here and I so much prefer cold to rain, so we are happy

I knew that today was going to be the best chance I had of riding this holiday but what happens? - The road is so lethal, I can't possibly risk it! Bluddy typical - never mind, might have to MAKE time to ride tomorrow!
