It was a cold winter this year. Several weeks of almost daily -30 C weather (not accounting for the windchill), with the coldest day being -46 with the windchill. Reading about people moaning about -5C must make you smile thenYou get used to it though don't you, and appreciate the warmth when it comes
Lately its been around -10-15 C, so -20ish with the windchill.
Oh, and the snow came at the end of October and never left. It doesn't look like it's going to leave anytime soon either.

I haven't had to dig myself out of the house for years, into the barn yes, but house no.
