Anyone else find this worrying

The worst element is that the woman in the vid did appear to recognise the warning signs. She stepped in as soon as the pony turned its bum to the child but THEN LET HER CARRY ON. Risking a child (and aggravating an equine) for click bait, is never ok. Expletive expletive.

The worst kicking I ever got was from a Shetland pony. I knew it had a reputation (my mare used to be turned out with it) and was extra careful but one frosty morning I was putting hay in the trough for them and it just spun around and hammered me. I went over backwards and was draped over the trough and it just carried on kicking me. I don't know what possessed me but I had my steel toe cap boots on and I got a few good shots of my own on its backside - didn't stop it kicking me some more though. It was like a little machine gun. I eventually managed to roll off the trough and hobble away. My legs were black and blue for days, you could see the individual hoofprints and my muscles were so stiff and sore that I walked like John Wayne for more than a week.

I found it horrible to watch, and the pony is actually chasing her at one point. I couldn't believe it when the adult stepped in, and then let her carry on stroking the back end and walked away. Anyone should have been able to see the signs.

Yes extremely worrying. Having worked in a child protection role, albeit an admin role, you would be suprised some of the antics people get up to with their children or other peoples children.

Some people seem to have a blatant disregard for Health & Safety.

I would not expose my child to hooves, no matter how small the animal or even unshod. The damage that pony could have caused would have easily killed that child had it struck it on the temple.

My Mum would never have put me in that position at that age.

That was horrible - pony gave a good number of warnings of what he thought of child and what he could do! Parents obviously did not have a clue
