Anyone else get frustrated?!!

Just a general moan really! Had new boy for 5 mths and seem to have had lots of little problems which have meant that we just can't seem to get going!
Lost a couple of shoes so tried without- big mistake - went really lame so ended up with vet and 3 wks off - then lost a couple more shoes and had to wait for farrier, and more recently had a wasp sting which has taken a couple of weeks to get over. Yes he is a drama queen!
So... trailer training taking longer than anticipated so not even able to go for a lesson yet! Is it just me or do other people go through this? Fed up!!!!
 
I think we all get this from time to time. With us it's life in general that gets in the way, not just the horses having problems.

BTW, where was the wasp sting, that you couldn't ride him?
 
That's horses I'm afraid. It happens to us all at some point or another. I have had almost 12 months of one thing or another. You'll get there.
 
Wasp sting was on off side fore just beneath elbow, it happened when I was riding in the school, so could ride him but he was very worried about it! Even though it was small it has taken 2 wks for him to begin to forget about it! Just kept quivering all over that shoulder!
 
oh, we've had MONTHS of it with daughter's ponies - people messing us around, loans going bad, then we get a good pony and have no transport, he lost shoes and it took ages to get straight, then she hit a mega homework patch, we still have no tow hitch ... it's enough to drive you mad. Oh wait. We already are mad.

i had a reallly tough time with my horse when i got him, just one thing after the next, it did get better but then he was diagnosed with another problem, but i think it is just horses for you!
 
Yes but bear with it and school, experience-ise and learn until you reach an epiphany of either keep or sell. A lovely saying I have is:
Don't let horses frustrate you, we have men for that.
