Anyone else going to Badminton this year

The showjumping was over the other side of the car park, we didn’t see it either but only because I couldn’t be bothered to walk over 🤣

It’s aimed at the 5* for sure but still thought it was a lovely atmosphere and some amazing horses and riders on the XC!
We kept looking at the map trying to see where it was.

The horses we saw were looking 👌 and we enjoyed what we saw. X

Gosh yes comfortable shoes!!! Some people do go for it but the majority don’t! It’s meant to be warm too, hat, suncream and comfy footwear are a must! It’s not at all muddy this year thank goodness! Food and drink is extortionate so take a picnic if you like and get there early so you can park near the shops (handy for dropping your shopping off) x

I'm going for the first time on Sunday! Any tips from you pros?

Also, how do people tend to dress? Do they dress up?

You don't have to dress up like the races, you can be smart, but comfortable. First thing is shoes you can wear all day - although if you are going on Show Jumping day you won't be doing so much walking around. The Continentals always used to look like $1 million!

I was working on the Weds/Thurs (Pedigree stand, met lots of nice dogs!) and agree, it was so much busier this year than the past few years. The first year I worked the Saturday and vowed never again but I was surprised to see how busy it was this week.

Just seen cross country day is sold out! Haven’t seen that since the first year after the covid cancellations!
