Mu lovely mare who is costing us a fortune has got into the habit of scraping her foot on the floor. Normally i can live with it, but she is scraping the foot that is attatched to the leg that has £300 worth of metal in it
Anyhow so she's tied up outside her stable and she starts scraping her foot, so i say "stand" or "stop it" not angrily, just an authorative flat tone :p (oh yes i'm very versatile) and she stops and looks at me as if to say "er what?" anyhow i turn my back and she does it again, whilst giving me the most evil look in the world, just once and then stands quite content
And she is the most lovely mare in the world, wouldnt hurt a fly. But if you go into her personal space whilst she is tied up or in her stable she will pull the most horrible of faces even to me . But i go up to her, rub her ears and she'll put them forward (won't for anyone else) but the minute i walk away she puts her ears back again and looks at me with disgust
Silly pony! Apparently she always has to have the last word!
Anyone else's horse like this? (just like to emphasise that she is very polite other than this and has never hurt anyone) :)

Yes I do but I suspect somewhat smaller, my Shetland mare is a pain in the bum when tyed up, it's not that she try's to get away, but once you walk away from her head, she just doesnt let you get anywhere near again to untie her.
To the point that I can't tie her outside the stable it has to be a fence I can hop over and do it that side, she does get aggressive though and try's to boot you however in hand she is a little angel so it's very strange
