Anyone else got their white legs out???

We have sheepskin saddle covers over here so that we can ride in shorts btw :) However when you ride through Prickly Ash regardless of what is on your saddle, you end up with scratched up legs like mine :D

I loved a suggestion I saw from someone for tan through jodhpurs... I've been rolling mine up when not riding to try and tone down the bright white of my legs (nicely complimented by a few large red fly bites!!)

Mine are out and I apologise profusely to anyone I encounter for the glare!
They are only out up the yard though....I wear things there I wouldn't dream of wearing elsewhere, I'm sure my horse is embarrassed by me ;)

My white legs have been out for past 2 weeks! Me and friend are doing a pub ride this weekend and I am determined to get some colour on those legs so I will do the whole 2 hour ride there and 2 hour ride back in shorts. Luckily I have the total contact saddle and fleece stirrup leather protectors so I shall be nice and comfy :D I'm contemplating whether I should wear my bp or not. I have been very lazy with it recently, due to the heat, but I always ride with it apart from recently. The only problem i'm having is that my boobs really hurt when bouncing about without the BP holding them in place. Can I hijack and ask two questions. 1. I'm really scared that my boobs will go prematurely saggy if I ride without my BP. Any views on that? And 2.How do I stop them from bouncing so much???!!!! It hurts :(
Any suggestions welcome!

Nope, mine are still undercover :D I think I would probably scare the horses and cause a stampede if I got the legs out, might invalidate my insurance or something :p

(eta, these emoticons are rubbish, aren't they!?)

Yep, two white candle sticks here too... although they are chunky candle sticks!! I've been in shorts more than not the last few weeks, and maybe, with the use of a magnifying glass, (if you dare!) they is a teeny tiny colour change to ''very light brown'', or is that just dirt? I do, however, sport a very good farmers tan on my top half.. very fashionable!!

Mine are not only deathly white, but they are ridiculously skinny and out of proportion, knock kneed and covered in bruises :o Still in me cut off shorts though, its too hot to care!

Goes lovely with my farmers tan haha!

I've had my shorts on for a fortnight but still no tan! I'm super pale but I neither burn nor tan, it's very weird .....

Lucky for me I went on holiday just before summer so I did cheat :D I do have some good heritage which makes me less white too I guess!

Went to the beach today and saw a few men with brown arms and a reflective white chest haha.

Me too, plus a few horse fly bites. My granddad said I had lucky legs, lucky they don't break!

See I'm from Irish and Scottish stock, so am as pale as they come, and all my 'tanned' bits are really just loads of freckles on the verge of joining up :p

Haha! I have had the mick taken out of me for my 'chicken legs' for as long as I can remember! My Dad has them too - cheers for passing them on Papa Bear!

I'm moving to my own little yard soon, and will be getting my legs out then, where no-one will see me!
Need to run the clippers over them first though!

I cannot work with trousers on so I have blinded everyone with my white sticks, and covered in bruises too.
I'm glad I'm not the only one.
In fact from the bottom up, I have white feet, brown from above ankles to mid shins then white up to my arms and face. I do wear combats quite often now my boy's retired. I have to put quick tan on the white bits to try to match them up!
Bit of a patchwork when i get in the shower!!

I've had mine out for a few weeks now... They are awful legs.. Spider veins, horse fly bites, bruises and cuts... But they are definitely brown!
