anyone else had an issue soaking fast fibre recently?

We seem to have got a non-soaking bag it took a good half hour to reach the consistency it normally does in a minute (much to the annoyance of hungry horses ). Have enquired with A&P but just wondered if anyone else had a problem recently?

No problems here. Opened a new bag yesterday and it was fine xx

No problems although it does seem to take longer to soak if it's cold xx

It is quicker with warm water, never had it not soak. Although when half asleep I did try to soak pony nuts instead!!!! They don't soak to well.

i got a bag last week and it soaks fine! im a bit concerned if it takes half an hour :s even normal mix would go soft quicker than that? I'd take it back!

I think soaking it today was like soaking pony nuts.. which I have done! It otherwise looks/smells the same and reaches the same consistency just takes a good while. Mum's job to take it back as she's on 'orse duty in the week

No problems here, I use cold water and its done in 1 min. Although I haven't bought anything recently.

Yes! I got a new bag on Wednesday and thought the same. I also thought the pellets looked a bit different. Thought it was just me being silly

the number I have is 10765 so seems not the same! not heard back from A&P either today.

Opened a new bag friday it seems ok, try with warmer water it might be as its turned cold the temp of water is low, I sometimes use hot water the horses like it warm.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the last bag I bought doesn't want to soak! I end up leaving it soaking whilst I go and do other jobs....... hoping it improves soon!

Have also found its taking longer to absorb water.....pellets seem harder or is this just me??

Bought some the other day and it seems fine

I soak mine with boiling water though which always does it in under 10 seconds
