Has anyone else experienced 'loss of sticky' in the velcro on the neck of a Rambo duo??

Mine is just over a year old and all of a sudden today the velcro just won't stay fastened. Got to yard to find neck flapping merrily in the wind and horsey with very cold neck

YO said she'd re-fastened it about 5 times during the morning before that. I cleaned it with a velcro brush and its mud free and looks fine but will not stay put ........... what to do what to do ??

Thinking I will need to put it in for repair but in meantime don't have h/w t/o and meant to be vey very cold next few days !!

Ive not had a problem with mine..

Having said that my rug is only a year old and is full of rips and part of the binding on the tail flap has come off..

Mine is four years old now and ive had no problems. Its had one surcingle replaced after that came undone in the field and jack stepped on it.

Its got a teeny nick in one side of it now also. Aside from that, ive had no issues and its been his main turnout for the full four years now.

Im sure i got his in the first year that they were released also :| Strange how some seem good and others have problems

Mine is almost three years old.......... the neck velcro had to be replaced after a year. Our local man is fab though and does it whilst you wait.

I've got a heavy weight rambo (the red one) and the neck on that is far better, but the chest comes undone!

on the duo neck cover subject- does anybody else find that it's quite a tight fit? I have a 6'3 which is ok when head it up but tight when head down, and (unfortunately) it's certainly not due to having a big necked horse!
