anyone else have a highland x tb

we have had our 15hh mare for 18 months and am interested to know what others are like.spoken to her breeder and several other owners.she is clever,opinionated,impatient ,strong character.she has taken a long time to settle and trust us and was very standoffish and defencive but is now becoming much more affectionate. i know people have said similar things about connemaras but have never known anyone else with this combination before.

My friends have one, they've had her about a year. She was a nightmare to start with, and, like yours, took ages to settle. She is also quite opinionated and stroppy Having said that she is lovely looking mare and is great to ride. She was mainly a showjumper before friends bought her, she has now become more of a happy hacker.

yes ours is beautiful .she did a little bit of be but has a height limit jumping but a talent for dressage.very short coupled and is a real 50/50 tb x highland,with best of both.its more what goes on in her head i think.
