All seems to have melted now though, not sure if we'll get more tonight!

Great photo! We had a few flakes yesterday. Am now living in trepidation of them returning with friends. Massive clouds outside, argh...:(

Yes, but that is hardly surprising ;)

Only about 3-4" though. Very manageable.

Yes we had quite a bit in Fife but it is now thawing. Horses were not impressed and I had to put one some hay. Still have plenty grass but it was well covered.

Cirencester had some. :) Not near even an inch though, minimal dusting but still covered field. :) (We couldn't go see ours but land lady went and gave them all hay)

Lovely crisp sunny day down here in the South East. Tonight it's going to rain and rain and rain!
Would much rather have snow.

Yep, just a dusting...well a decent dusting on this side of Gloucester. Not enough for the big boys to want any hay as they hadn't eaten any that I had put out for them last night. It was pretty much all gone by midday but the sheltered edges of the fields still have a little there and everything had a thin layer of ice this morning.

Yes plenty this morning which meant first day in so far this winter - I took ponies for a walk in it and was tempted to turn out for an hour or so but ponies would have been in separate fields on their own....not even in visual contact so had they had a little hooley they might have done damage to themselves. Its warming up now and the stuff is going on the low ground - still on the hills though.

I'm in the shropshire hills and we had it by 11am yesterday morning - then snowed on and off in the evening, leaving us without 4 cms this morning. Just enough to cover the grass properly so horses weren't impressed when i hoofed them out for a few hours!!!

Snow now melting and have wind and rain to replace it - dread to think what the fields will look like tomorrow….and fear it will be another day of limited turn out.

At least it is not icy, but had a look at met check and in about a weeks time it is due to go down to -12c!!!! However their long term forecast tends to be grossly inaccurate, and am hope that is the case this time…

You can blame it on me as I stupidly mentioned spring like conditions the other day - what a dope!

Lovely photos - but please keep the snow! We ha a lovely thunderstorm last night with a slight spattering of hail, this morning was very sunny (hate driving in the winter sun) and by early afternoon cold, wet and windy again. We did have a mini tornado two miles away though!
