So just a bit of a :( post really.
So last week I really felt I was getting somewhere with Frenchie-her schooling was coming along nicely and despite me riding like a numpty she was jumping like a trooper.
However it started to go down hill on tuesday when I had a lesson with my YO and French was an absolute arse-really behind the leg and leaning on my hands-euch!
Then on wednesday my friend came down to the yard with me and we did some jumping with Frenchie and she was going really well. However I came down on thursday morning and something wasn't 100%-she looked happy and seemed sound, but YO came and had a look and said she was holding herself oddly and looking 'roachy' :( I assume she has over-stretched her back when she decided part of a grid was a bounce rather than a stride and put in a mahoosive jump. :( so is now on field rest until I move her back home next week and can get my chiro to have a look.
And to top it all off today I get a phone call to say she has pulled her shoe off! Arg! Can I not just have one week with her remaining whole???
Anywho...self-indulgent post over...onto a better week...hopefully!

lol have had a winter like this, horse damages self in November, continues to have problems, with tendon and cellulitis all through out, pulls off shoe twice

3 weeks ago got another bad bout of cellulitis, fur came off all scabby and yak, fingers crossed its starting to look ok, but its been a right time

Sucks doesn't it-should have added this is the second shoe she's pulled off in 3 weeks, and we'd just entered our first competition of the season! Arg!
Hope your horsey is on the mend now ^^^
