Okay.......... I spend hours and hours/hours/hours in all of the local tack shops/ superstores/ trade stands at shows, testing and smelling products. :D

from leather conditioners, to multivits, from feeds to horse care products :D

who loves the smell of Hoof oil, useless product yes, but its a bit like Marmite, you love it or hate it!!

who loves the taste of Molasses (dont use it anymore), but used to lick it off my fingers :D

I love the smell of my leather balm so much I clean the leather chair in my sitting room, so I can smell it around the house (probably do need to get a life there tbh)

who has the best recommendations/ cost cuttting products ?

Thank God it's not just me. My daughter and I spent last Easter in London thanks to the Icelandic volcano for a week. We spent four hours in a tack shop in Finchley, smelling, sniffing and eventually buying the most scrummy stuff. I even take my Derby house and Robinsons catalogue to the bathroom to read whilst I'm "ehm" otherwise engaged.

I don't know you but I might like you if I did! (re-read your title!)

I don't so much walk round smelling stuff but I do like the smell of my saddlers workshop.

:p;) cant stand the smell of Scratch tho, love Brewers yeast :D

ooooh!!!! Garlic, no longer use it but loved the smell when opening the tub :D

pasture mix, something else I miss the smell of

.......wonders if keeping a bucket of it, to shove ones head in to get a fix.........might be a bit on the sad side :p

I too have my Robinsons & Derby Horse mags in the bathroom, much to hubby's dislike!!!

Call me strange, but the smell of horse pee on concrete brings back childhood memories of my parents taking me to horse/livestock auction's (when I was suposed to be at school)!!!

Love the smell of squeeky clean leather tack, Canter mane & tail conditioner and Cowboy Magic!!!!! YUM :P

If ever I'm feeling a little fraught I take a good sniff of my tack- sorts me right out.

But the best smell ever is calf / lamb milk powder. We don't have them anymore , so my local feed merchant often finds me with my head in a bucket!

I love that smell too, and am lucky as have Horse and Ponys, so get to smell the different pony/horse smells :D

I like the smell of wine :p

GRAZE ON!! makes me wish I was a herbivore

and....

I love my horses smell.. I know that's sounds wierd, but I do... (not when he's all sweaty and stuff, but when I hug him round his neck... he has that certain horsey smell) :o:o:)

Since I was very little my mum would say that I had to smell everything :) I'm still the same. I love the smell of hoof oil, the lovely smell of freshly opened bales, the smell of cut grass, even muck spreading lol. :)

Nikiska - horse sweat smells lovely! How can you not like it!? Yes, I do love doing XC for that reason... :p
Also love riding in the rain - wet horse smells good, far better than wet dog!!

Haylage, leather soap, fly spray!! (or diluted vinegar...!), leather generally...

'But the best smell ever is calf / lamb milk powder' <--- wondering if this smells anything like lactol? Mum used to give it to the puppies.... loved it! It didn't taste so good though :( Can confirm though that white hot chocolate smells the same and tastes equally bad!! :p

I love the smell in saddlery places and some folks think I'm weird! I love the memories I get when I smell Gallop shampoo and hoof oil. So glad it's not just me. :p

OK STRANGE!!!!!!!!!

I love the smell of my horse, not the back end at the mo, with this spring grass, but her front end smells nice still.

Hoof oil, although only use it when showing, so don't get to sniff it often.

Outside of the horse world...new tennis balls, new carpet and new unused wellies. Mmmmmmmmm

Ok maybe i'm strange too. :D

It has taken me ages to come down from a Carr, Day and Martin 'trip'. I too am a seasoned sniffer of all lotions, potions and general horse products, edible or otherwise. I also like smelling (and smelling of) horses, their tack, feeds and beds.

I like the smell of my horse's breath coming out of his nostrils!!

and all of the above suggestions re: lotions/potions/products....

I love the smell of tack shops. All that leather, yum. I also love smelling alfa a. I love burying my nose into horses neck and taking a deep sniff. I have a wardrobe which is my "horse cupboard" and I often opening it for a daily fix.

I too read horse catalogues at certain moments of the day! I also circle the stuff I would buy if I had a horse!

Love the smell of equimins biotin plus ( similar whiff to eqivite ) and although I haven't smelt one for a while , love the smell of a pig , oh and baby lambs , all that lanolin in the coat.

I've got a years worth of horse magazines incase I need to check something..at some point! Haven't finished reading may's edition either - Ive had it 3 weeks and on bed rest! I guess I'm saving it as a treat!
