Anyone else hoping there youngsters are going to be big enough?

Hiya my horsey is 14.3hh at 14 months old seems bigger every day his dad was 16.2hh and his mum was 15.3hh so anything between that sort of heights and i'll be delighted x

I was hoping my boy would make 16.1 at least. He was 4 in June and has only just squeezed his way up to 16hh...I am hoping for a late spurt! lol Although to be fair, he is lovely as he is and I am only 5'2" so it doesn't actually matter.

He is 3/4 tb x 1/4 shire, so maybe the shire will develop over the next couple of years and I might get 16.1 out of him.

His Dam is 16.3 and his Sire was 16.1.
 
ooops slighlty bigger then. My welsh is 2 and hes 14.1hh i am still hoping for 15hh but his bum is 14.3hh plus so hopefully we will get there and they are late developers so i am still hoping his brother and sister are15hh+ lol
 
Im hoping my New Forest will make 13.2hh - he's 14 months now and standing at 12.1hh at wither and 12.3 at the rump. I will be gutted if hes not 13.2h as I think I'll be too big otherwise

I'm with Jessquoi here - ours is just 3 (1st July) and bum currently 16.0, withers 16.1.....very much hoping he stops soon! Mum is 16.2 dad 16.1 so he should....!
 
My newfie just scrapes 14hh at 3yrs old...i'm 5ft 4 so that's not so bad...but have a couple of Piccies of me on him(We're backing him right now) where I think I look abit big

Tbh he has just come through a bit of a poorly patch and lost some condition so maybe once he's got that back, and filled out/muscled up with work etc i'll be fine. Put it this way, i'll be absolutely devastated otherwise.

Misa (Russain Trak) is 17 months, and is 15.1, but expected (or rather, hoped) to make 17.2hh, doubt she'll make it, but she's a beauty at this height, so I don't think it'll hold her back.

On the other hand, we have Masi (Abreviated names are similar, as is breeding, looks wise, they are nothing alike, however) is 11 months old, and already 15.2 (point 5 =P) so there is no doubt in my mind that he'll make his mothers 17.2hh. He's a bit skinny/lanky at the mo, so we're hoping that he concentrates on growing wider for a little bit!
 
Our nine month old is currently around 14.2 - I was hoping he'd make 16hh and certainly no bigger than 16.2 but the vet and my yard owner seem to think he's going to be huge! He is TB X Quarter Horse though so I'm hoping he'll develop young and stop growing early!
 
well I am hoping my welsh sec D makes at least 14.2-3hh. She is about 14hh at the moment and she is 2 and a bit. If she doesn't grow much more HELP!! Fingers crossed.
