Anyone else in Wiltshire had trees stolen?

Just wondered if this had happened to anyone else? We are in south Wiltshire and have never had any problems before but at some point last week someone dug up all the tree planted outside our house, on the fenceline and i guess took off with them, they've just dissappeared!!!

No tree thefts on the hants / wilts border. How random, did no one see anyone armed with spades? Not got any students living nearby?????
