Anyone else losing loads of shoes atm??

Bean has now lost 5 (YES 5!!!!!! All 4 once and 1 again

) In 8 weeks!!!! She had a rattley shoe last night, so tried to get farrier today, no luck, but came down today and she had thrown both back ones

Anyone else having this problem??

yes Rupert never loses shoes but has lost two in the last month.!

Not lost any yet, [touch wood] but feet look horrible and crumbly.

Yup, even to the extent that Im taking my horses shoes off completely as soon as he's done his last few summer events!

Was chatting to the farrier other day, he suggested that it was probablly caused by the constant fluctuations in moisture that we have experienced this summer!
