I bought a 2nd hand Boett and for a start a piece was missing so I had to get my sewing machine out to make a piece to go from the chest, thro the front legs and attach to the belly strap. I also found that the belly strap works its way backwards thro the day, so I have put some extra clips on too.

In the past I have had other rugs which have needed a tuck here or letting out there etc.

Sometime I wonder if I shouldn't just buy the fabric and make the rug myself from scratch !! LOL :)
 
I get the saddler/rug repair man do do my adjustments altho i was thinking about blinging up some browbands and saddlecloths etc this year for my little girl ;) :)
