Just thought I'd post in here as my entire yard are raving about this and despite me having my horse on it for the second time round (I went back to baileys lo cal and then tried again) I'm just not convinced it's as great as everyone else says it is!

No major complaints, just haven't noticed his coat or hooves being any better than they were before and to be honest his energy levels seem a little lower than they were on the baileys. I think I might try the top spec one next but just wondered whether anyone else had found the same? :)

Well it's just micronised linseed meal, seaweed meal and dried yeast.

While I really rate micronised linseed and will on occasion use brewers yeast, seaweed is IMO a complete waste of time. The mineral balance is never going to be what is required by a horse on a normal UK diet. The main advantages of seaweed (to a feed manufacturer) are that it is cheap and "natural".

Go back to the Baileys if you were happy with that and don't be swayed by yard fashions. :)

Thanks, I was also wondering how seaweed was a necessary addition to a horses diet!

In all honesty, some of the horses had a really dramatic change on it and looked amazing which is why I gave it a try. Only a few days supply left so a bag of baileys it is!
