Okay with the new horse have been a lot of new rugs, I didn't have a thing to fit her!
BUT.... what I have noticed with so called HEAVY rugs is that they no longer expand like they used to, it would seem gone are the days when you regretted getting a rug out of a bag to have a look and regretting it as it was hard to get back in the bag!
I have bought a Weatherbeeta Belmont, marked on the bag as HEAVY, it is no thicker than a medium, also an Amigo Insulator, supposedly a 300g, it is as flat as a pancake, and have not expanded at all, hardly worth the £60 it will have to do as an under rug, I suppose!
any one have any tips on getting these rugs to plump up?
