If I'm honest, I didn't want a grey broodmare but I couldn't not buy her last year when I went to view so here we are!

We've got a chestnut due in August and a buckskin due in the spring

Why does she have a headcollar on while foaling? Just a question

Headcollar on the mare is standard good practice. Trust me, the last thing you need when you get into a difficult situation is a foal proud mare you cannot catch. There's no risk to the foal during foaling of a well fitting headcollar on the mare.

Me too! And for once I cant decide if I think he's going grey or not. I hope not as I love a spotty!

Reminds me of my first bred, she was born chestnut but had roaning throughout coat, she went chesnut roan, like her dam who was bay roan. (Sire chestnut)
