good* not could lol

Yes the Roma ones ( the wrap around neoprene ones) seem to be the only ones that survive and don't rub.
I skimped last time and got some cheap rubber Velcro ones. I went to get my horse in yesterday to find one had disappeared and the other one had upturned and in it's place was a bleeding overreach wound, typical!
Back to Roma now :p

If your horse is like mine and likes to take them off by undoing the velcro with his teeth, therby ripping the velcro off the actual boot making them useless then I just use the ones you have to pull on now (without any fastenings) and they actually stay on unless he stands on himself and pulls them off that way.
I leave them on 24/7 and they don't rub because th top rim is softer and more flexible due to being able to stretch to pull them on.

Woof Wear Kevlar ones, every time!

I've got an ID that lives in these 24/7 & he hasn't killed one yet though I have had to have the velcro restitched a couple of times where he's pulled it away from the boot. They've survived thick mud & numerous pulling offs but the acually boots are unscathed apart from being a bit tatty at the bottom - not bad for a year's abuse!

Mister Jay has to live 24/7 in his OR boots - and he lives out.
I find the Shires rubber and velcro ones absolutely fantastic - no rubbing, and no coming off (the velcro's so tough, it takes a real effort for me to take them off to do his feet etc). I like the Norton ones as well.

another vote for the roma neoprene ones, all three of mine wear them, i have a mare that goes through them like you wouldnt believe! She also wears a rubber pair underneath as its the only way i can stop her standing on the inside of her feet and pulling her shoes off!!

Escada - excactly why my mare wears them, to stop her pulling the shoes off!!

Will be searching for the Roma ones - thanks for your help.

Misterjay - i've gone through 2 pairs of the shire ones recently: the velcro survived but somehow she managed to rip the rubber bit all the way up. Bad pony! God knows what she gets up to whilst i'm at work.
