With lack of motivation......?? :mad:

Really struggling this winter.........with working long hours, not seeing daylight, Houshold Chores and Awful weather!!

Had a brief spell of warmer brighter weather last weekend and felt so much better - could even smell spring in the air....!!:D but now back to cold, wet and gloomy.....and struggling to get the motivation to ride......just want to go home and chill in the warm next to the fire......:rolleyes:

Bring on the spring.....lighter evenings.....warmer weather and show season...I really need a kick up the ar*e to get going...!! :D

I'm struggling too. Quite a nice day to ride tbh but I couldn't be bothered. Mostly cos my boy hasn't been out for so long (we've both been ill) he's lost his confidence. Will pick up again when we've got someone to ride with!
 
Me too, had a day off and couldn't be bothered to ride. Just want to stay in, thought I was doing well this winter but it's catching up with me now. Can't wait til spring when the horses can live out again, currently getting up at 6.30am and not getting home til 10pm and wonder why I'm tired!

Me too - I have just lost my hacking partner and feel quite depressed about it, both the neddies got on well and gave each other confidence rather then winding each other up!! my boy isn't the most confident and a nightmare on his own......:eek:

Sometimes just cant be bothered to try and school in the wind and rain and dark seen as after work i cant get up the yard until 7pm.....then out the door again for work at 6.15am every morning......think i need to re-address my work life balance as it leaves me so tired.....or a bit of bright, warm sunny weather might do the trick...lol...:p

Glad im not the only one...the winter really drags....:( x
 
It's taken me about a year to get back riding my pony. I did very little last year through lack of motivation and I'm now making up for it.
We've been out a few 2-3 hr hacks and going out tomorrow - now we've found another hacking buddy.

I'm praying that weather stays fair though, as the past few days have been decent. If we get more of the dreaded s...w, I'll cry!
