Anyone else wanting a piece of that Irish Draft Stallion?! >>>>>>>>>>>>>

i think hes lovely, but then i do love greys, think they are stunning for the 2 seconds after they have had a bath!! Also I do love ID's (dont own one at the moment but have in the past :)!).

I've never been one to like greys but he really is gorgeous!! Anyone else want a piece or is it just me?! :D

I saw him at his grading and he IS very nice! I'm saved from temptation, though, as his dam was by Agherlow - and my most prolific foundation mare is a full sister to Agherlow so he's 'out' for at least half my mares.

I could probably afford 1 leg. He is stunning isn't he? I wonder why he is for sale? I would have him in a minute, even if he is grey, I think he will probably fully grey out, which will take some cleaning.

Not allowed stallions on our yard, even if I could afford him.

I think he is almost as gorgeous as Raj, Janet George's stallion.

I was just drooling over his ad in comp riders and came in here to see that Im not alone - he is just my type utterly stunning would love to know how much he is!

If someone on here buys him can my IDx mare be first in line for a date! I think they would make a lovely foal (even if I am a bit biased!!)xx:p

I think he may well end up going abroad, unfortunately. He seems a really good type, although I am a rubbish judge. So may attract the attention of foreign buyers; would be a terrible shame to see him go.

Could we buy him as a group? ;) I will chip in my Christmas money, all £25 of it. :p Anyone else?

fantastic stamp. I'm sure he was in H&H a few weeks back - previously POA - so maybe no takers even for that gorgeous boy atm. Reminds me of my old IDx mare, I'd love to have that type again...

He's been advertised in H&H several times and it drives me nuts when people don't give a stallion's full breeding. Over here (north and south) if you ask anyone how their horse is bred they will give you chapter and verse over several generations :) - in mainland UK if you ask how something is bred they will say Irish Draft cross or whatever

What on earth is the point of advertising a stallion without giving its full breeding, however nice he looks?;)

Hes a very handome boy i think ive seen his stud card before, im not a big ID person so couldnt really say a good from a bad but he is the spitting image of an ID a ride for a client although smaller so that makes me feel good

Totally agree! You put as much info as you can and he is a covering stallion so that info is quite important.

Agree with Janet he is giveaway money. There again I have just seen a well-bred RID mare who was bought for 10K sterling a couple of years back sold for 1350 euro in foal to a top RID stallion - oh how times have changed.
