Finished a night shift now happily say in front of the live feed. Anyone else watching?

WFP and Neuf des Coeurs are on now!

Incidentally- does anyone know why Pau is counted for next seasons HSBC classics rather than this seasons?

I'm watching it on FEI tv... I've cancelled my subscription.. But for some reason still can watch it!

WFP and Neuf clear at the moment near the end of the course

Ahh that's lucky.

Unfortunately I don't have a subscription and I can't seem to find it on the Pau website. Glad to hear WFP is clear so far :)

WFP home clear and inside the time to stay on Dr score.
Andrew Nicholson had two stops with I think Quimbo (although commentator said it was Vicount George so now sure) then he retired.

I did the month subscription so I could watch the Europeans but cancelled it a while back. I may just be coming to the end of a month though.

I will try to keep you updated until it comes on the Pau website live feed x

Sarah Bullimore also clear and inside the time.

Tom McEwen now on course

11 gone so far and Sarah and WFP are the only ones clear and inside the time......

Ps. Please tell me if you'd all rather not hear what's going on.... I want to be helpful but if you'd prefer to watch it yourself I don't mind!

Gutted for Craig Nicolai getting eliminated :( I wonder what happened, Just Ironic is usually so reliable cross-country. They have such a great bond and he's a lovely rider, very horse friendly in his training.

ETA: Commentator said they were eliminated but it looks like they finished with 60 jumping faults but only 3.2 TP. Seems odd!

Oh I didn't see him get eliminated, I think he was the one that had two run outs (but the second one was a bit debateable as he didn't obviously present but did circle twice...)

Not sure sorry!

Now I'm even more confused as the official results have changed to show him as eliminated! Clearly a story to be told on that one...

There seem to be all sorts of errors on the course now, the early riders made it look relatively easy.

Agreed. It doesn't look nearly as imposing as Burghley but it's very technical and the fences aren't exactly small.

I guess the constant turns on course and the slippy ground aren't helping either!

The British riders are doing well- haven't seem many Germans yet though- other than Kai Ruder and Andreas Dibowski

Just watching Quimbo, and Seacookie, on FEI tv.
Commentator says there are more crowds !!, then usual, because of the Indian summer SW France is having,
I could get there within 2 hours, but the coverage and commentary are good.
Only 4 clears within the time at the mo.

Tarrsteps - VG was his first horse. He had a run-out on Quimbo at the same fence as his first run-out with VG. Not a great day at the office for AN unfortunately!

Screen frozen , still getting commentary, so have switched to Equidia, sound turned down, and listening to FEI guy through headphones.
