just feeling really down and crappy atm?

I am. Bored, fed up with the ridiculous amount of flies up the yard and getting covered in bites, ankle's playing up again, ground's rock solid and just generally having a continuous **** week!

And the bitch is in season, driving our other dog potty and in return driving me round the bend to add to it.

AAAAARGH.

Rant over.

Things seem to be going from bad to worse at the mo.
I'm just trying to upload a vid of Herbie lunging today. He was being soooooo bad. But it made me laugh watching it back as i'm talking away to him :p If it ever uploads i'll post it.
 
in north wales its chucking it down and has been for the past week or so, my fella is just standing in the middle of the field enjoying having no flies annoying him :)
 
Hiya you two - nope, not having a good one myself either, hmmmph. What about the flies today ? Ye gods, I swear they've mutated into twice their normal size, and even super-super-expensive DEET spray didn't put em off.

Laura, if it's any consolation, I came home covered in sand tonight, having taken my eye off the ball for one second, the - being - lunged boy sees his opportunity for that blade of grass, and off I go flat on my face. Not a good look is it.;)

Went for a hack yesterday and the flies were disgusting. All I could hear was them buzzing round my head.....yuck!

It has rained continuously here for about a week - the fields are flooded, the roads are flooded and guess what?? We have a hosepipe ban!

I have to go to Edinburgh to pick my mare up from hospital tomorrow. Apparently operation went well last week, so she is ready to come home. I'm hoping I don't have to drive there in torrential rain and on flooded roads!
 
No, afraid all is good here. I got a complaint at work as I asked a known light fingered person where my scissor block was that had been left (deilberately:o) in the staffroom, knowing he had taken it and apparently he didn't like the way I spoke to him when I said not to take my stuff-again! Twice in 2 weeks. PMSL!

Roll on the summer hols!
 
bit bored today just been watching the concrete being poured into my yard lol but the flies are gross!!! hate them! and even worse its supposed to be torential rain here for next couple of days ad only half yard is concreted so we will have to wait ages until my yard is finished and ready for my pony to come in again !!

Seems to be taking ages to get my mare ready to sell. Really want to move on....

What compounds the whole thing is on the 26th it will be a year to the day that I lost of old horse. I still miss him so much it hurts. Dreading it.
 
Yep, lame horse, **** from other people, vets bills and stupid flys etc also a trashed boett that had to be replaced. And horse fell on me to add to it so still in lot of pain!
 
((((((((hugs)))))))) everyone. You can see Herbie lunging on my thread mixed day. Sorry you have to pass loads of boring pics on the way. But he is doing a good impression of the lloyds bank horse on the lunge :mad: :p :D
 
I thought about making a rug with flytape............

Anyone ever done it and did it work?
