Anyone elses coating off?

My brood mare had suspect hair coming out of her this morning (too muddy to tell when I got her in this evening). My two that are full clipped are definetly on the way to a full summer coat, but not worried about them so much.
Hope this freeze isnt goint to come too cold - dont want to go rugging her!

My boys have started to shed around their ears and Tilly my 2 year old is moulting like mad, shes got a beautiful summer coat on her face, by looking at her you wouldn't think it was January!!

Mine has just started properly moulting, she has been a little all winter though. It's meant to be mega minus numbers next week though!

Cairo had started and I sorted him out - off with the lot!

Chancer had not started, but cannot tell now as I got him too with the clippers.

This winter has been wierd, hence the boys being fully clipped out as they were just getting too hot and itchy.

malting???!! no chance!

my boy (being a welsh mountain pony) sheds his coat in july and never before, and grows his new one in august!

i wish he would malt before, i'm on my 7th clip now and need to keep it all off so ready for the show season.
