Anyone else's dogs become clingy when their human is pregnant?

For the last week or so (since about 27 weeks pregnant), my dog has chosen to curl up to me at night (rather than OH), and the same on the sofa in the evening. She's usually his very best friend, so this has confused us both rather! Is this a normal dog thing to do?

no idea of whether its normal but my dog was constantly by my side when i was pregnant, more so in the later stages, and he is very protective of his little human now she is here
