I thought Tia had been in season, apparently I was wrong as today and yesterday she's left her food, wants to be on my lap (which at 4st is not comfy!!) and is restless, whiney and generally a pain. She'll be off to the vets in March!

When did you think she was in season, and what signs is she showing now to make you think she is in again? If her season was around a couple of months ago she could be having a false pregnancy, or more worrying it could be signs of a pyometra although she is young for that.

Ive had 2 bitches that get hormonal around the time they would have had pups(got one at the moment). Off their food and a bit miserable. No milk production or anything like that though.I usually give them a bit more t.l.c.plenty of long walks to take their mind off it, but they basically get themselves together after a while.

MM - She was swollen a few months ago and suddenly terrified of people she's known her whole lift but she's swollen and bleeding now so presuming the first was a hormone surge/fear phase or something similar? Quila showed a LOT but never really changed behavior apart from not wanting to be touched on her back end so it was easy to spot with her.
