Wehn we first got together his hands were very rough and often cracked and bleeding. This stuff has cleared it up. We stumbled across it at Herts County Show a few years ago. The large tub lasts him just over a year I think.
It is lovely. He uses it on his face after shaving as well.
Yes, bee products are awesome. I use a pure aloe vera and bee propolis creme - the aloe rejuvenates your skin while the propolis has healing, natural antibiotic, anti viral and anti bacterial properties for long term benefits (it's used in Gt Ormond St hospital for excema and psoriasis)
Highly recommend
it does smell a bit like a dentist's waiting room though...
i usually suffer with this but had not even thought about it this year and been fine, think i can say that it is because i have been using pig oil on the ponies.
Anything with almond oil in is also very good. I use Body Shop stuff and if they are really bad pop a pair of their cotton gloves on at night. Next morning they are lovely and soft again. Wasn't convinced they would work but they do.
Try Aqueous Cream from Boots, you get a big tub for about £5.00 and it lasts a good six months. Put it on after washing your hands and at other times, its non greasy too and amazing.
Try sudocream - it's an ace cure-all for the horses, but in treating their mud fever this year, my hands stay lovely and soft!! Not expensive either compared to 'specialist' hand creams
