anyone elses horse being an arse ?

i posted a while ago saying my horse didnt want to be caught and was running around me and at me ! well he isnt so bad now but is still not loving being caught and is still putting ears back and walking off !!!
has anyone else got problems and how do you deal with it ?

Crop isn't being naughty on the ground but during our lesson last week she was a total cow bag. Admitadley it was our first lesson for 6 months but she knows how to walk in a straight line, she knows how to listen to my leg and she never bucks/bronks/leaps/runs/explodes into canter out on a hack

We were both dripping in sweat when we got back.....how did I deal with it?..... my instructor got on!!!!!!! I can only sit so much and she was getting naughtier so she had a short sharp shock of not being able to get away with it. We have got another lesson tomorrow eve

my horse is being a pain in the bum to ride at the mo. think its the spring grass coming through

mind due goodness knows what she is going to be when i get back on her. i havent ridden her since my fall on saturday

Me and my sister have been having exactly the same issues with our horses. I think it must be the time of yr, what with all the spring grass coming through. I f you leave their headcollars on when you put them out ( I know it can be dangerous, but make sure they're tightly done up). It really works. For some reason they are more submissive?? Also have you thought about maybe changing his feed? Sugar beat makes my horse totally hyper, because of all the sugar. Also if I put him on an energy mix, but not riding as much, it makes him frisky. This might work for you? Feed him less hard food maybe? xxx

Yep. i have owned mine since early summer last year and suddenly got my first set of bucks out of him when schooling this week. He seems to have gained one hell of an attitude in the last few days - and is letting me know it!!
