If yesterday is anything to go by then er.. no.. I walked onto the yard last night and all the horses that had been brought in were snoozing.. lol goodness knows what they had been up to through the day.. lol..

After I'd riden and untacked, Betty also tried to go to sleep with her chin resting on the door.. bless...

Yep! I'm having a hell of a job getting Jim in from the field already!!!! He keeps chucking in the biggest buck and throwing tantrums on the end of the lead rope! Although as long as I can keep his front end on the floor its not half as dangerous as it could be. He really should know better at his age!!!

Nimby (my 23yo) is acting like an utter loonatic atm.

Although that's a mixture of things, cooler weather, not being ridden enough and the fact he was ill and the vets given him a performance boosting supplement full of caffeine and things to perk him up... safe to say it's done that!

i took my 18.1 ish horse out on sunday and he is usually a right plod - different story sunday! he certainly had the wind up his tail. i had quite a long ride because i had to wait for him to settle down before i could turn for home!!! felt like i had been out hunting all day when i arrived home - i was shattered!

Mines gone the oppostie! Put him out last night after bringing him in to put a rug on him and he then stood by the gate and fell asleep instantly. Was shouting him to come for a carrot and he didnt even bat an eyelid, then walked right upto his face and he didnt even register I was there lol he was completely out of it. He woke up a bit today thought when out hacking with my friend as there was a very nasty plastic bag that seemed to follow him no matter how much or where he insisted on reversing

We ended up cantering sideways up the road today (not main road) as someone started their lawnmower up, and someone else was strimming!!!!

I think merlin thought the clippers were after him!!!!
