Most of my natives are switching coats around and one of my TB's. The other TB's are still in their full summer coats and show no signs of changing yet.
Aah, my boy was loosing his coat all of a sudden today too, I could just pull it out of him! It's also getting thicker, he is going to neeed a clip soon!
One of mine has always started casting her summer coat late June and her winter coat starts casting late December! I've had her 17 years and she's always been the same! The tb is a month later so casting bout now and winter woolies start casting February. I think they are all diff but.there are people who manage to keep full summer coats till HOYS!
Yes!! my little one seemed to grow another semi winter coat and is now moulting again!! could have knitted a jumper with the amount that came off her earlier!!
phew! thought he was a bit odd at first- makes grooming for shows a nightmare as its difficult to get a shine on a grew when the coat full without dealing with all the moulting!
Yup for the natives on our yard (I really need to stop wearing black clothes; gave boyo a good sesh with a unigroom earlier (love it, could get a bit obsessed) and I ended up covered in more grey and white hairs than him ).
Yeah, 28 year old welsh x is moulting clouds of the stuff and has been since we passed the longest day ( as usual). At that stage she still had a belly fringe of winter coat, a full summer coat and was moulting both at the same time!
Misty is, as are the ponies I am riding but as far as I know the horses on the yard aren't Ended up taking my grooming kit home last night, washing it and hoovering out the rest of the hair this morning as my brushes were just covered in hair!
