Anyone else's horses lacking spark?

I wonder if this is the problem with daughters little horse. She's mentioned recently he's been not quite himself and was a bit worried about it.

At our yard too we've had a usually nutty TB complete a fun ride at a reasonable rate and his pal (native usually pocket rocket) being described as not feeling up for it and pulled up so I think it is this weird season we're having. My mare changes between eeeee to yawn over a few days, think the temp changes are messing with their clocks!

My normally very forward mare is what I can only describe as sluggish at the moment. I put it down to shedding her coat and possibly being in season. Very frustrating, but hopefully temporary.

Thanks for the replies all.

I clearly spoke to soon - it appears the spring crazies have kicked in.

I think as suggested above he has been shattered, not getting much sleep. I've been bringing him in for a bit to have a snooze before riding and he has the spring very much back in his step again!
