Our fields have little shelter so when it's windy it can be nippy . . . so although some of the hardier horses have had the odd day out naked, we haven't had a day yet when ALL of the horses have been out rugless . . . until today
.
I swear Kal was looking at me as if to say "really?" as I led him up to the field coatless . . . and the very first thing he did was roll and roll and grunt and roll and roll. So lovely to see him with the sun on his back for the first time this year. And equally lovely to look across all the fields and see all of them naked, gleaming and heads down eating . . . wait for it . . . GRASS!
So . . . was it warm enough for yours to go out au naturel today?
