MERRY CHRISTMAS

I don't know about eventing but I have a friend who farms and has seriously considered putting his steers (2-3yr old hereford-angus 1st cross) in NH training. The larger ones stand about 14.2-15hh.

Across a large flat field they beat the successful ex-flat racer I was riding and cleared the metal field gate with out breaking stride. They would make excellent hurdlers as they don't hesitate about going through the fence (top strand of the wire grrr) and it doesn't seem to slow them down.

Very impressive but not when you are trying to get them into the yards, and they're now heading back up the mountain you just brought them down....

Unfortunatly no pics.

Lol, I am seriously considering making one, I have the rugs from DH already so that really would finish off the look :D!

PP is half Friesian does that count as a cow :p, she is grumpy too!

Merry Christmas everyone :D!

Haha very good!
I would never have guessed she was half friesian!! What is the other half?

Arab :) She hides it well now :p but when we first got her she was morbidly obese, and the vet did ask if she inherited anything from the arab  :D! She's cow hocked too ;)!

So if anyone sees a vertically challenged pony in the North this season dressed from head to hoof in cow print that will be mine :D!

No, our cow just nudges me when she wants/needs something... usually her tyre (her favourite toy).

Love the pictures, they did make me smile. Hope you had a lovely day yesterday. :D
