Sooo... dug my 'show hat' out (it doesn't come out very often) only to find the navy velvet has turned red, it STANK of a really strong chemical smell and the velvet falls out if u touch it.
It's been stored away out of the light, wrapped up in it's original packaging.
It's a few years old (ok... 8 years old) but I've only worn it about 5 times!
Any idea why this might have happened? Clearly going to have to get a new one but not overly happy!
