I'm in shock. Most of my rugs have now sold on eBay and I thought I'd try them instead of Royal Mail. All I can say is

I was given the price of £22 for a 1.7kg parcel 22" long x 3" wide (a folded sheet inside). Cripes, Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery is only £6.60 for the same package. Jeeze, I'm NEVER moaning about RM again. Are P2G really serious quoting a price like that???!

I've used them twice for saddles and was really pleased with their service and found them very competitively priced.

(No, I don't work for them!!!)

Are you sure your measurements/weight were right?

Yep, I use them regularly, brilliant and so far they've always been cheaper than Royal Mail. Pay Per Parcel are good too.

Well yes, I was actually speak with one of their sales people and had the package in front of me here.

How did you get the quotes for the saddles from them? I've 3 of those to sell too, but they're going to be packed in large double skinned cardboard boxes and be pretty heavy, obviously. How much were yours to send?

Prior to finally speaking to someone today, I've been using the Quick Quote option on their site but keep on being told they cannot offer me a quote as my parcels are 'over sized'. Over sized at under 2Kg and 22" long x 12" wide x 3" deep?

I'm sorry but I can't remember how much it cost me, went back through my emails but I've deleted them all now as it was several months ago.

I know I compared several companies and Royal Mail but P2G worked out best. I just used a normal cardboard box with lots of bubble wrap as its cheap and light and lots of parcel tape round the outside.

I wonder if your prices came out high as your measurements would have made it seem quite big so I think they automatically assume it is going to be heavier, even if you have put in a lighter weight.
