Anyone fancy horse hunting for me??

I seem to be getting nowhere and I've seen from other threads how good some of you are at horse hunting! So, anyone want to try for me?

I'm looking for 15.2hh - 16.2hh, 4-8 years old, to do a bit of everything but would like to affiliate BE / BSJA and hope to do up to 1.10 or more would be fab. Not too quirky, I'm experienced but have had bad experiences in the past and have back / hip trouble.

Needs to be within an hour or so's drive of Haslmere, Surrey. Budget up to about £6.5k could stretch it a bit more (at the expense of a new kitchen - OH know's where my priorities lie!!) but would rather not!

Any suggestions . . .

I know of a super little mare, shes about 15.2hh not 100% as shes not had a stick on her, approx 6/7 (fully passported etc. history know!) appaloosa, biggest most expressive trot I've ever seen in a horse her size with an equally super canter. Would make a great eventer/dressage horse whatever. Really really quiet (we trimmed and clipped her yesterday, absoloute darling didn't need to be held or anything) kind sort. Definately not quirky!! Not sure how much money yet (but highly doubt she'd be out of your budget), she needs a bit more condition but will be advertised in the next week I'd think. We're in Surrey so not far away.

I've only heard good things about this dealers and they have a lovely gallery of loads of pictures of satisfied customers enjoying their horses. They regularly have new stock.

Good luck horse hunting :)

I can second here - i bought from them two years ago and my horse is fab and exactly what they said he was (the one jumping in my sig).

cant help you with what your looking for but just thought i'd warn I posted a similar post recently (looking for my friend) and it got deleted and i got an official warning from admin. apparently posts like these constitute as advertising. spoil sports!

i've just looked on sehorses.co.uk and they seem to have a couple in that might suit. A little further than i ideally wanted but maybe worth the trip if they have more than one i can try.

Any one got any comments on them good or bad?

avoid!
